I whole heartedly disagree with this. You play 82 games, it’s guaranteed that you’re not only gonna have a night like this, but multiple nights.

This is a classic let down spot. Come off two emotional games where they played their asses off, then have to get on a plane the next day to go play in Utah. 9% from three. 62% from the line. They’re tired, mentally and physically. You can use all the coach speak you want, but this isn’t 2K. It happens.

And here’s a spoiler for y’all, this probably won’t be the last stinker they play this year.

Sometimes it’s not about who’s better, it’s about who’s the better fit. JV just doesn’t fit in todays NBA if you want to win championships. He’s too easy to exploit on defense with switches and P&R and he’s not good enough from outside on offense. Myles Turner would come in and immediately fix both of these issues. We have more first rounders than we have roster spots. At the end of the day we can’t use them all and have to eventually make a move to complete our team if we want to win rings.
