Sometimes it’s not about who’s better, it’s about who’s the better fit. JV just doesn’t fit in todays NBA if you want to win championships. He’s too easy to exploit on defense with switches and P&R and he’s not good enough from outside on offense. Myles Turner would come in and immediately fix both of these issues. We have more first rounders than we have roster spots. At the end of the day we can’t use them all and have to eventually make a move to complete our team if we want to win rings.

All of this. JV was killed by Utah in our first meeting with the pick and roll. He just doest fit defensively.

It happens. If you think every game is going to be a win or competitive loss in an 82 game season, you need to watch more ball besides the Pels my British friend.

OK, apparently it is the Knicks.

They went 3/36 in a game a few years ago

Nothing indicates he's available.

The Pacers are 4-8 in their last 12. Only one of those wins was against a team that is currently above .500. They’ve come back to earth hard after starting the season hot. I’ll bet anything Turner is available right now for the right price.

There is not one single team in this league that won’t have a few of these. Matter of fact I’m sure if you look at the Lakers and Celtics teams of the 80’s and MJ’s Bulls team you’ll find they had a few of these too. It’s the nature of an 82 game schedule.

I really don’t get how we can be so good one night and literally within the spaces of a matter of days, look like an absolute joke of a team. ‘Just one of those nights’ is just a convenient excuse. Should never ever be this bad and cold from the arc and stripe with the players we have.

These aren’t robots. It’s impossible to shoot lights out for an entire 82-game season. I’ll be happy if they leave Utah with no injuries. Losses happen. They will bounce back.
