Great frickin defense they’re bottling the shite outta Trae

People who want to get rid of Herb because his offense is terrible need to understand what he is doing to Trae Young tonight.

He was playing Bogdan really bad defensively and had about an 8 minute stretch where he couldn’t get right defensively. He fricked up a fast break, but since then, he’s been alright.

Maybe I’ve been out of the loop. Why has willie now decided not to play graham? I mean I’m not complaining, but seems odd. Glad kiras getting his run.

I will never get use to the modern fastbreak taking that 3 over a dunk
A 3 is worth 50% more than a 2. The mat says you should almost always take the open 3 over the open 2. Worked out for us there, but with our lack of shooting, it's probably better if we opt for the open 2 more than the open 3 on the break.

I wouldn’t even call his offense terrible. He can’t shoot rn, but he does a lot of shite really well on that end too. If he can get back to shooting 35% from deep like last year in the second half of the season I think he becomes an above average offensive asset

Trey can’t hit shite tonight. Been wide open a bunch of times

Glad to see trey pulling the trigger that quickly even if they’re not falling. Seems like he’s for sure gotten the confidence back.

I think he made 2 of his first 3 from deep. Since then an 0fer though

At least he is still shooting

Gave up 35 in the first and 46 total since then. Not too shabby.

If we played in Memphis Herb would get a block added to his stats right there

Any word on Zion? Is he in the house?

Agreed. He is getting good looks too, they'll start to fall again if that continues.

Correct, with the caveat that it’s his SHOOTING that is terrible, which is just one part of offense (albeit a big one). Herb does a lot of good things offensively.

Also this is a a bad game for people who think Jonas doesn't still have value on this team, especially with Larry basically being a cone on defense tonight.
