Alvarado is going to be a stud once the game slows down for him.

Willie Green is having a tremendously positive effect on this young team across the board.

There was like a 15 game stretch before this little run he's been on where he had a coaches decision did not play and 3 games where he got a handful of minutes. I think that was a pretty big reality check with him.
He very well might have had a "ah was the 8th overall pick, they're going to have to play me a lot this year." Willie dropped a reality check on him.

Herb is fun to watch. I don’t even watch the ball on defense.

Really? That's good to hear.
I've only really watch the past couple games or so and he has looked good. We need that.

I think I said this a couple game threads ago. I stay locked on Herb, if you are not you miss how much he actually does. Players don't handle the ball around him, the few times they do they lose it.

I think Alvarado is a clear indication that Willie Green is not afraid to give players minutes who earn them, no matter how young. Which is something people should keep in mind when it comes to Trey Murphy.

Sheesh. 28 point lead.

I hate taking quick 3's but I love some FU 3's when they leave someone completely unguarded.

The rest of the league better be on notice if Jaxson Hayes is hitting 3s.

Jaxson and Jose have really balled out for the bench

I mean he hasn't been what we've wanted, but I've tried not to give up on him bc he has a lot of skill. Efficient. Athletic. Gets to the line quite a bit relative to touches. Sweet free throw stroke. I think, maybe, he has a decent shot in general, just haven't seen enough of it. On this recent stretch I'd say the thing he needs to work on the most is rebounding. I don't think it's even strength, just getting to the right spot. If he's going to play the 5, he has to grab more rebounds.

Have to admit seeing Hayes up close for the first time on Tuesday was a reminder of what could be with him. He goes shoulder to shoulder with Towns and his physical development is coming along. Twenty Five year old Hayes is going to be an absolute physical freak if he wants to be. And he showed me something with his passing and off ball movement against the wolves.
