I don’t think it coaching . Is Willie perfect , of course not . I would have rather had someone in naj’s minutes late in the 4th.
It’s inconsistent effort or lack of vocal leadership on the court. Game on the line and Kobe white goes straight down the middle of the lane . No one ever picked him up . Next possession. BI guarding him and just floats back as white come off a pick to catch a shoot a wide open 3– mind you this is the guy that carried the bulls . Just moving freely getting whatever he wants .
Effort doesn’t wane with on court leadership . Teams with leaders aren’t fazed by where they are playing .

yep... games like this come back to bite teams in the arse... the "we'll get 'em next time" mentality bullshite starts to catch up with you...
again, 3rd quarter does us in... didn't see much hustle out there tonight... Bulls straight up outworked us, and we played piss poor defense... over committing on screen and rolls, not chasing guys off the 3pt line.... just overall bad defense

I think if you have to stagger BI and Zion like tonight you need to go:
Val, Zion, Naji, Hawkins, Jose
Zeller, BI, Jones, Dyson, whoever we had left.
If we have CJ and Trey you can do things differently, but imo that's the best 2 rotations you could have gotten for tonight and we rarely saw it.

Also, thank god the game is over because watching us go under screens on White was making me ill. BI did it three times in the fourth quarter. Simply awful.

It made zero fricking sense.
Val can knock down a 3, so he can at least not crowd the lane like Zeller was. Then you have the 3 best remaining 3 point shooters outside BI with Zion.
Then BI can create and hit the mid range or dish off, so he doesn't need the 3 point shooters with him like Zion does.

The board was quick to jump all over Larry .
I’m not saying it’s the exact same but Jose has not been particularly good and has not given the bench the boost it’s needed in road games.
