2 losses in a row at home after a nice little streak... Just like that, no one in NOLA has any reason to believe in this team..

I would let Rubio shoot 22 times whenever he wants. If he burns us, Ill tip my hat to him. But he's barely shooting over 40% from the field this season and shoots a career 38% from the field.

Thats the guy you want taking 22 shots

It really is. I have to drive 2+ hours to go to games. I’ve already gone to two this year, thankfully they won. But I have doubt every time I look into getting tickets, feeling like there’s a good chance they will ruin my night. I have tickets for Pacers and Blazers coming up and I’m expecting it for one those. Win at home and you get people in the stadium. No one wants to waste money.

It’s true though. Many casual fans don’t pay attention at all then they see the pels are on a win streak, go to a Home game, they don’t perform, people lose the little faith they had. There aren’t a lot of diehard pels fans, most are just fair weather fans. It shouldn’t be that way, but it is.

I've been watching the NBA religiously since 1995. I'm not really getting the correlation.

If you're implying teams go on streaks, then eventually lose, sure.

I'm just saying if there was ever a time to swing the mindset of our fickle fans, coming home and losing these two games sure wasn't it.

BTW, I'm not speaking for myself when I say that. I'm a diehard New Orleans basketball fan. I knew the streak would end, and those were two good teams we just lost to. I'm speaking on the casual Pelicans fans, which honestly mean the most to the future of this franchise.

I’m still not sure how they lost other than we didn’t get enough from our guards. Things looked good before AD went out and Mitchell went on that run at the end of the 3rd.

Rubio shooting his arse off didn’t help. Perimeter D looked especially atrocious today. Niko playing like shite too. It is what it is eh.

FT disparity, shots wouldn't fall, Mitchell's spark. The 2nd half was just terrible.

Unless Portland, LAC, UTAH or Denver loses one of their major pieces. I just don't see the Pelicans making it looking at the remaining schedule. Friday and Saturday were must wins. Especially with warriors losing to Portland and Minny

+13 at FT line and +18 from 3 for Jazz is your ball game

Little fun fact. If the Jazz were in the East (other than the obvious change in scheduling) they’d be the 6th seed

The defensive philosophy for this game was terrible, and at no point did we change. They got lay up after layup, and we did not adjust.
Don't understand why we weren't switching, or hedging harder. The go under the pick lazy d did not work.

Jazz had 14 offense rebounds and shot 3/21 second chance points. We should’ve been blown out tbh

It was a 7 point game w under 3 minutes to go and they didn’t have an O rebound or 2nd chance attempt in that span

We just scored 2 points to close the game.

We seemingly should’ve lost by 30

Can we talk about how AD had his first career triple double and it was with blocks. Dude is insane.
