Yea I can def see him getting a two way contract with the way he shoots the ball.

If Liggins had a roster spot, he can.

Tony didnt stand out much. Played okay. Will start year as G-league player and come up if injuries happen on 10-day deals. Thats about the only insight I have.

Go get a vet like a Barea, Nappier, Mack, J Jack, etc.

You keep mentioning him, but Barea is under contract and is one of Cuban’s favorite players. I don’t see them releasing him and I think they value him more than anyone in their right mind would pay for him.

Barea fits in perfectly in the exception.

If the Mavs bring Yogi back, they are overloaded at guard and would have multiple young guards that they need to get reps. Maybe they get Barea around, but if they'd rather give Doncic, Smith, and Yogi the reps (which they should), he'd be a nice piece

He's trying to be AD. He needs to take what the defense is giving him

I like Bluiett a lot. At the very least I think he'll be a 2-way guy. Great shooter and seems like he's got a solid basketball IQ

Please forgive my ignorance. How many of these guys do the Pelicans have the rights to besides Diallo and Frank Jackson?

I swear if we let someone else swoop in a grab Bluiett we will be left living up to his name.

Yeah, Diallo's always gonna be an energy/activity player. Don't think you ever want to be out there featuring him in the offense. Which is why, while I like the attitude, summer league MVP-Cheick isn't necessarily the role you'd carve out for him.

Also, Bluiett can SHOOT

I hate the fact that Diallo puts so much emphasis on offense. His focus should on the defensive end. He's looking to get the ball everytime he runs down the floor. I do not like his game right now.

Gotta respect the consistency lol. He's the same guy whether its a summer league or a regular season and he's on the court with AD. He's flying down the court with his hand in the air like Randy Moss, looking for the ball. Love the hustle. He's just gotta know that unless he's wide open down there, he's not getting the ball.

Diallo put pressure on himself to be MVP so he's looking to get buckets. It's not his game
