Taberner has done stints at Everton, the Orlando Magic, and Manchester City (Academy). Taberner has a doctorate in applied sport and exercise science from Liverpool John Moores University.

Like David Cosgrave, extensive experience in professional soccer

Two guys on that side with extensive soccer experience is interesting

We may actually be equipped to play fast with this staff. That's a real cultural change. No more preaching we want to play fast over and over again and year after year. We actually have the backbone to do it now.

The owner needs this doctor to learn something about innovation before he reconditions her management skills.

I appreciate how we typically rank near the bottom for athletic training/medical staff, and now they are taking it extremely seriously.

To be fair, Griffin completely revamped the athletic staff when he was hired and had Gayle spend $10 million upgrading the athletic facilities. Let's see if this route brings better results.

Just another doctor that will work in the Ochsner umbrella of other doctors but they gave his title a cool name.

college basketball insider Ben Stinar reported that the Pelicans have hired former Indiana Hoosiers guard Vijay Blackmon as an assistant strength and conditioning coach. He didn't have a lengthy playing career, but he has been around the sport for a while.
