Moving Hawkins and GTA for a shooter would be wonderful.

Or, we can all dream that this is the year that Hawkins actually learns to shoot.

We had approximately 10.5 million dollars to play with beneath the tax and one open roster spot. Looney is making 8 million and now we have no open roster spots. This move is not needle moving at all. He is a competent NBA player but he does not raise our ceiling. Memphis, Houston, Dallas, and San Antonio have all improved their team more than we did. It’s not a great look. I am more convinced than ever that they will NEVER put a center who can shoot on this roster with Zion.

I would assume there is a trade coming, just not very optimistic right now.

sure. And neither will Murray, Herb, Trey, Zion, Missi

Herb immediately gets moved to the bench when Murray comes back.... Mainly because Murray starting with his defense makes Herb expendable but also because there's absolutely no reason or need to start Herb. Finishing games may be different but not starting.

Cole Anthony is the dream now IMO

Fits at PG to start the season and then can be the 2 once Murray comes back.

I could wish for a genie to make that happen and he’d say it would be a tall order with all his powers.

Even if he can shoot he will be dog shite at just about everything else. You just gave me a headache trying to imagine him being good.

How many of those are there?

What do they cost?

Are they more reliable than KP, who is notoriously fragile?

Interior defense, toughness, rebounding, and leadership is more important for this squad this season.

It would have been nice to have that dimension but we gave up 66% at the rim last season while being a really bad rebounding team. We needed an interior presence more than a spacer.. now more than ever.

Lopez is on the back end of his career and isn’t going to come here for that much.

For the clippers. Would cost the Pelicans twice that much and he'd still turn it down.

Looney is only 29 years old. As of February. So weird how people are acting like he’s Brooke Lopez old.

My buddy was like “dude he’s like 78 he’s being held together by glue and tape” I was like what he’s only 29? He couldn’t believe it lol

A player taking 9mil to live in L.A. is equal to that same player wanting 30mil to live in LA.

Brooke wasn’t choosing us over LA. We were probably lucky that Looney and Poole are tight or we may have been completely empty handed.

I’ll be honest, I was floored when I saw it. I had no idea.

I’m aware
teke asked what centers who can shoot cost, and he’s a center that can shoot. That’s what they cost
