We just beat the team that were chasing for 4th in the west. That's worthy of celebration, Shel.

didn't this win also secure the season series win for the Pelicans over the Clippers?

I don't know if we can end with the same record as the Clippers what with the added IST games we played in... but in case we do end in a tie with them... we now have the tiebreaker over them

PG and Kawhi played 41 and 39 minutes. Zion and BI played 35 each

And we won. He made some bad decisions tonight, but he also made some really good decisions. Going small against Zubac was a fantastic call.

BI passed well and defended well. Sometimes that’s what is needed to win such a game.

The defense that BI is playing lately is a big difference-maker. That steal in the 4th quarter was a key moment and symbolic of his effort as a whole.

So many plays that show this team is gonna fight in April.

Z saving a turnover by diving for two loose ones
Herbs block to dunk on PG13 WOW
Ingrams steal late

These are your leaders making plays to win games. All the shite we said hasn't happened did happen tonight

He is getting his insane touch back and combining that with his best athleticism as a Pelican. This isn’t even his peak either

Seriously guys, do we have to point out every little issue with Willie every game?

He’s not the best coach, but he’s not the worst either. Enjoy the ride.

I'm just happy we showed the ability to close a tight game against a team who was playing it like a playoff game. Not a lot to complain about otherwise.

Probably our biggest game of the season, and for the first 42 minutes, he was making head scratchingly terrible decisions, why should that not be pointed out in the moment?

Thankfully, he nailed the rotation the final 5 minutes.

It’s just all been beaten to death, we are what we are at this point.

No new ground is being broken.

Sheldawg said the same stuff repeatedly on Twitter tonight. He was on a mission.

I’ve been on Willie’s arse this whole season. But last night he benched CJ and even inserted Nance (when most of us including me thought he didn’t deserve to play). Those two helped us win the game. He also brought Zion back in early because he just felt how dominating Zion was. Willie still had issues but benching CJ was pivotal and not easy to do considering CJ is one of the leaders on this team. If Willie can continue to make moves like this it provides me some optimism he can be a better coach moving forward. Its no longer about hurting guys feelings- its just about god damn winning. Culture building is over- its winning time.
