I hope its just the players just want go into the break but our defense from that lakers game onwards has been absolutely atrocious.

Serious question: why can’t BI play fast? He really struggles when we try to go pace and space. He has not been good at all tonight. Most of his shots continue to be contested mid range shots. Is this the reason this team can’t play this way more often?
Also, Zion got no touches in the last two minutes. Why didn’t we just continue to get the ball in his hands in the middle of the floor? The last two minutes featured him standing in the corner. I will never understand.

I mean I’ll just put it simply they don’t really complement each other at all nor does our coaching staff do anything to help make it work. They’ll win games like this one but its a serious conversation this organization needs to have whether these two actually work together.

JMO: I've always thought BI had a very loose handle and probably dribbles a bit too high...not great feet...on either end of the court. Can look great on occasion with spin move...but I think, overall...he's just not a very good pace player.

I fully understand this is the Wizards but Zion is capable of taking over games when they space it like they did early in the second. Now, to start the half, Zion has no fga in the first two min. He gets an fga and he gets an and one.

He has looked really tired tonight. He missed 2 early free throws off the front rim. That's a telltale sign of a tired shooter.
