Adding another guy into the mix only complicates things

Someone would obviously have to go out, more than likely one of Jose, Naji or Dyson considering those are three guys on the bench who are largely just there for defense, although Naji is finally showing some value on the offensive end this season.

Trey should start in Zion's place. Tonight's starting lineup is ideal.

No. Trey should start over Herb

I see we're already forgetting Zion destroying the number one seed Wolves less than a week ago.

I get that but man JV has played so well. I would be hesitant to trade him. But I get what you’re saying.

I’ve seen people speculating that swapping JV for Jarrett Allen gives you enough defense to swap Herb for Trey. I’m not sure I believe it though. Asik was a legit defensive anchor when he first came here and often looked like a weak link because the perimeter defense was so bad he had to cover for everyone and couldn’t.

The problem with this is that now you have 4 guys on your bench who are mainly defense. Sure the rotations would stagger, but it comes down to if you trust Willie to not open the 2nd quarter with Jose, Dyson, Naji, Herb on the floor.

You can't trade JV. His production at his price is the best value you're going to get, especially against teams that play big.

While I agree, it's also a contract year for him and players tend to play well when money is on the line. People who are hoping he'd get a team friendly contract is going to be in for a surprise this summer if he keeps playing well.

I don't think he is going to fetch much more than he is now. He'll be 32 next year in an era of the league where the back-to-basket center is one of the least valued positions in the game.

Gotta feel sorry for the fans who fork out 50-100 bucks to watch their team get bent over after 30 minutes

Now they know how I felt Friday night against the Clips.

Holy shite. I wasn’t able to watch tonight, but DAMN it seems like we had the best game of the season. I guess I’ll just quit watching from now on and we’ll never lose

What the hell did the Kings do to CJ before the game? Most have talked shite about his mom or something

He said they were supposed to draft him and didn’t.

the best comparison is probably nikola vucevic (who IMHO was a better center) who received 3/60mil. He's having a pretty down year however...soooo maybe another 2/30mil makes sense

He's averaging 16 and 10. He's a very good comp for Jonas.
