Again JV has been amazing this season. Reward this man with an extension.

Give another 2 year, 30 mil deal. That puts him at 15th highest paid center.

Package Larry, Kira, and 2nd round picks to Washington for Gafford.

Why would Washington do that?

Yeah you may have to attach a protected first for that one.

Ingram had a better +/- than Zion tonight, yet no one on earth would say Ingram played better than z

BI has actually been playing some pretty good defense, and he did have 7 assists tonight.
But yes +/- is not always a good indicator.

We played a shitty team without their best player. Squeaking out a win isn't what you want but I'll take any road win after playing a shitty game.

2-0 on this 8 game set where we'll be favored in 7 of them. Good start.

BI has been weird lately

Last 4 games

3 for 8
4 for 13
5 for 13

...

And the 4th game was his best of the season, the 40pt game.

I would look to turn BI into Lauri. You lose some playmaking but gain rebounding and 3pt shooting. Defense would be a wash between them

It’s like you said. BI is a really good player. But what keeps him from being great is his consistency. He gives you flashes of brilliance but it’s never sustained.

Yep. Can you imagine paying 50 million a year for this inconsistency?

That’s what his next contract is looking like

You would, but would Griffin? Not likely. And like the Jazz poster on realgm told you-- what 3rd team is taking Ingram and giving Jazz assets they want? And wouldn't that 3rd team just directly trade for Markkanen instead?

For some reason BI is trying to force it instead of letting the game come to him. He has enough help on the team he just needs to be looking at the best basketball play and stop playing iso ball. He looks so tunnel visioned that it feels like it makes it easier to defend him.

I think a lot of this may have been due to the fact that he was back home in front of family and he was coming off a 40 point game. It just came to a point he continually was forcing it unnecessarily. I don’t think this continues but it would have been nice for him to show some maturity to just make the right play and not force yourself into scoring points. If anything, its just a reminder for him that he still has things to work on.
