You say this like it's a bad thing

Edit: Only got to watch to half bc I had to be up at 4:45, but Frank needs to be on the court more

he has a career low PER right now. lets not act like Jrue is playing up to our expectations. it is what it is for now.

He had a good game on both ends.

Doesn't mean he wasn't absolute arse overall vs Toronto and Offensively lackluster vs Dallas.

Jrue played ELITE defense last night. A major reason why a very good 3pt shooting team shot 26% from there

On offense he made 5 of 9 three pointers (was 1 for 9 coming into the game), 7 assists, & 5 rebounds.

Jrue played like an All-Star last night.

Yep, I think I seen they were something like 1-12 shooting against him, and the 1 make was a wide open shot by Murray (guess Jrue left for help defense)

Perhaps not two of his better games,
but some posters occasionally tend to portray him as hot garbage and an overall detriment, and that clearly is bullshite. Some of that take goes back to when he was acquired. Some posters hated the deal.

Why can't you shut the frick up with your sensitive defense mechanisms and just say that this was a huge start to a new team within this organization that Jrue was built up to be THE MAN and lead this team. He's gotten off to an inexcusable piss poor start. Other than that, 99% of us here know what Jrue is capable of and most of us are expecting more from him than what we've seen.

it was inexcusable 2 games. his 3 ball shooting last night bailed him out helping acquire some point totals. Jrue should be a 20-28 ppg player every single night on this roster.

Do you know how Jrue leads? With defense, work ethic, with encouragement. "Leading" doesn't always mean leading your team in points. Leading is about knowing what you're good at, knowing what your teammates are good at, and magnifying those skills.

Jrue has never been & probably never will be a Dame Lillard type scorer. He's averaged over 20 ppg once in his career. I'd be frustrated if he took 9 three pointers every game because that's never been his game

Yes I understand his offense was poor the first 2 games, you can be frustrated at that, but you don't measure Jrue's value by his ability to hit get 20 ppg

You don't keep excusing lack of offensive production bc he plays defense and "leads". Jrue is the asset bc of the dual threat he's become. This was not the year for the tDecline to begin.

And you determined that Jrue's production was in a decline after 2 games? Great work Sherlock.

We know he is a bucket getter. He played D tonight like he gave a shite. If he can provide that kind of hustle nightly on D, than he will rightfully earn more playing time

chadboy disappeared for a while bc Jrue had a real nice game. Now he's talking "career lows" 3 GAMES INTO THE SEASON. He has become a straight up troll.

He's also expecting a guy that has averaged over 20ppg once in his career and lifetime 15.5ppg to average a current point total than the reigning mvp.

you guys are so sensitive to criticism that you don't even understand the arguments you guys are making. i must have missed the lower the bar ceremony that was held that significantly lowered the expectations of Jrue Holiday on this roster coming into the season. hope you guys had fun and had lots of cocktails.

No I think its that your just so stupid that you think that a season has been judged by three games. He has had two bad games and one good game. If it was football and he was the QB and the team went 1-2, then sure, complain all you want and dog the QB. Even then, going 1-2, the season wouldnt be over. This is basketball, you're the only idiot on here freaking out about his two bad games.

I think you threw a party for everyone, expecting him to drop 28ppg, and nobody else showed up. You look like a clown standing there by yourself trying to make an argument that two bad games are inexcusable.

And this stupid inexcusable crap you keep saying. Since what he has done is inexcusable, what would you do if you're the coach? Its inexcusable so you have to bench them right? Trade him now?
