Cleveland played good defense down the stretch and the Pels point guard problem is even worse with Ingram out.

Wille putting Hart on Love cost the game, and it's safe to say Jax is a 4.

It’s amazing how the faces of this franchise never play. Every time I watch this team Engram is hurt and Zion of coarse has been MIA for most of his time here.
It’s a sorry situation and it seems like we got two could be superstars made of glass. What luck we have.

Maybe let’s wait to see Jax play the 4 against a team that isnt the absurd roster of big men that the Cavs used. It worked well because the Cavs play similar sized people, but who knows if it works against normal lineups

For sure considering Ingram basically is our point guard at this time. Leads the team in assists and potential assists and secondary assists.

When he’s out the offense really has no way of flowing properly.

Hart, Graham, Herb, Jose are all adequate cogs to make the thing move cleaner, but none are good enough to replicate that facilitating….and sad thing is BI isn’t some incredible facilitator

That was a pretty bad brick on what looked like a fairly easy layup
definitely felt like JV lost track of the clock and did a panic floater lay up attempt instead of getting a more balanced finish because he had enough spacing to get it done

If you guys could have a past pels PG that's not CP3 to put on the current team who would you choose?

Jrue

Unless you want Baron Davis or Reke, which I think would be a terrible fit, there’s not really another good answer I don’t think

The drought at PG has been pretty long. That one season of over the hill Rondo might have been the best. I'm not sure I want to count Tyreke because he was creating havoc that AD cleaned up as much as he was "creating" as the PG.

I am all for the Jax experiment at the 4 right now.

I am not so sure who the 5th starter will be, but I hope it is someone we don't have now.

I'd go

New PG
Herb
Jonas
BI
Zion

Of course, he played most of his Pels career at SG, not PG.

I wonder how 2012 General Grevis would be?

I mean not quite.

His first four seasons he basically played all point guard and then the last three played a combo of SG/PG, with SG edging out.

I did think on him a moment. And might change my mind a bit.

I think Darren would fit in a lot better in today’s game, and his elite catch and shooting would potentially compliment Zion better than Jrue, assuming you still have Herb around.

With Zion out, Hayes should have been seeing minutes at the 4 all year. I think it's also a better team fit long-term. Hayes backs up both Val and Zion with BI settling in at the 2 and Herb at the 3. That is a solid and versatile core. Hayes brings needed athleticism, rim protection, and a surprisingly good shooting touch to the front-court. It makes absolutely no sense to sell Jaxon now at a low value when he offers tangible skills that the team currently doesn't have.
