Everyone's halftime shows are cooler than ours---are we poor?

It’s the same thing for NAW and Jaxson. They are looking better because they are focusing on what they’re best at. Jaxson has 3 blocks all from being a help defender, and not being asked to anchor the defense.

I would say let him start at the 4 for the foreseeable future, but thats where BI plays.

I would like to see them integrate him more though as the 4, he seems to be way more comfortable there

The good thing about games like this Is you can point to Jax’s play and make a much better case to teams that he still has upside as a 4.

I get people are excited, but let’s say that is his natural spot. Let’s game it out here. He is a four, so now BI and Zion have to move up a spot or Jax is forever backing up Zion, limiting his minutes. And if you start Jax at the four that means one of Herb or Hart have to go out of the starting lineup and you are asking Zion to guard threes.

If Jax is a 4…he’s probably going to need to mature in someone else’s roster

Yeah, i guess he just doesnt have the mass to be a 5, like AD he cant bang down low with the Jokic, Embid's of the NBA.

The question is, how much upside does he have at the 4 where his athleticism may not shine as much because everyone else is on more level ground in that catagory as 4's

Can you get Jax enough minutes at PF the rest of the year to raise his value is an important question to answer going into the deadline.

9-1 assist to turnover ratio. Kid has a bright future in the league, cant wait until they can open a spot to convert him to a full deal

I also think as Tiger points out, taking away the burden of running a defense with his lack of BBall IQ and lack of great communication, center is probably not in the cards for a few more years. Also his lack of consistent rebounding.

He does make sense as a 4 since he can switch and stuff. And really makes sense as a 4 next to someone like a KAT or stretchier big that can allow Jax to still be a roll man and have more space as a lob threat.

Stupid. Why in the world did we do that? Billy can’t finish around the rim anyway and he thinks he can execute a low post move?

This is a terrible matchup for Billy. The Cavs are big and not slow, so most of his craftiness gets neutralized making him pretty useless.

Jaxson needs to learn to recognize someone is set and he can’t jump over them.
Then he needs to learn how to slow down and euro step around them for an easy layup.
