His agent said that before the trade went down because the agent would make a lot more money if Cousins stayed in Sac and got the new extension. Follow the money.

What future? Buddy was not going to be a long term difference maker and we were going to end up with like the 10th pick this year. I don't think our odds are great to resign him, but making this trade puts on even footing with all the big boys. Time for AD to do work in recruiting him, Demps to do work in the offseason to make us a real player next year, and maybe we tender an offer Calipari's way
