Does it change anybody’s calculus here that this guy went to five colleges?

Got to be one of the oldest players drafted in this year's draft. Already 24 years old. He went to St. Aug, so Weaver could "scout" him without leaving his office.

Watched his tape... kid can fly. Definitely an NBA athlete. His shooting motion has a smooth rhythm. Long arms.. palms the ball with ease(big hands).

He is an older prospect but at worst he is a fun summer league/ squadron guy. The Athletic's Sam Vecenie made a really unprofessional b*tchy dismissive comment when he was selected . Makes me root for him.

Congratulations Pierre, the hometown dark horse. Lets Geaux!

He has the tools to play in the league. He's just old. It's slim pickings at the end of the draft and he was a nice flyer who happens to be a local guy.

Should be a good 2 way contract for the team that could be called up from time to time.

Three-level scorer who is particularly proficient going downhill and doesn't shy away from contact. Dominated against mid-level college competition. He played primarily as a ball-dominate orchestrator which is going to have to change at the next level. The fact that he's local adds flavor to his selection.

I'm thinking Donte' DiVincenzo with 'ups' which would be a great catch in the late second round.

DEFENSE!!! DEFENSE!!! DEFENSE!!!

37.5% per (7) 3PA his last 2 years.

44% FG on 15.5 FGA his last 2 years.
(37% on 9 FGA his prior 3 seasons)

Something clicked after the redshirt season.

Should be fun to watch him in the SL. Hopefully he can get good experience with the Squadron and maybe eventually take the same route as McGowens.
