I think it would be a mistake to do anything drastic this offseason. Stay where we are; get our core of AD, Jrue and Tyreke more experience together then make a serious run at the big names next offseason.

Gentry will try and make things work to his liking though. If they can move Asik I see them doing that and that may free up room for someone like David Lee who could still play plenty of minutes, but a rotation of Lee and Ryno would be pretty awesome for our lineup. Split minutes right there down the middle and we're set.

PG - Jrue
SG - Gordon
SF - Reke
PF - David Lee
C/PF - AD

6th Man - Ryno

still need more bench depth, as Cole was nice last year, but we slimmed our bench down and relied on role players like Cunnningham who is high energy to give us some minutes, but we would be better off without him

There's no way that AD can handle most of the minutes at center. It's going to be a 5-15 mpg position for him, depending on opponent.

Tbere's only a handful of centers in the league that play more than 25 minutes a game that AD doesn't need to guard and only 4 are in the West.
Cousins
Howard
Jordan
Gasol
Hibbert
Jefferson
Drummond
Brook Lopez
Mozgov

This is why i don't like paying a guy like Asik $12 million a year for mulitple years to guard these guys right here, when every other center in the league can be guarded by AD or won't be in the game much.

I'd rather AD guarding everyone on that list of 9 guys late in games except for Gasol and Hibbert.

Bayless was a Demps move.

Talk about portents- one of his very first moves as a GM was flipping a 1st for a young vet.
