There are at least 3,000 people here. I know NOLA likes free shite, but this is a great showing! 8 or 9 lower bowl sections are full.

6,500+ showed up. LINK

If the saints are hovering at or under .500 in November and LSU has 2-3 losses while the Pels are sitting around .600, this team may get some sell outs on weekends before Christmas for once. People are excited, and generally when that happens, there's a big let down. Hopefully they can come out the gate strong.

I think they are airing it live online again this year too. Although when I click the link on the website it goes to the interviews with Jrue, Rondo, and Chieck from the last few days. Has it not started yet?

Looks like AD only played in the first of the three scrimmages, but Demarcus, Jrue, and Rondo played all three. Anyone know what happened there?

Just saw on twitter that he was grabbing his right shoulder before he came out, but returned to the bench and looked fine. Just didn't go back in.

Chieck Diallo looked like he deserves an NBA bench spot. Might be useful trade piece ??

If you have a shot at a good starter you include him in a trade package if necessary, but being a capable backup on a cheap deal will be very useful with the team's salary constraints going forward.

Yea I was shocked at how many people were there at the arena. That's first time I got go to the other side of the lower bowl and that was filled up.

In the post practice report Jim Eichenhofer said the crowd was maybe twice as big as the crowd that showed up the year after the 07-08 season, the peak of the CP3 era.

I saw a clip of him hitting a 3 in transition off a pass from Rondo, but Oleh did a write up of the practice and this is all he said about Miller:

quote:

Darius Miller and Ian Clark started coldly, but at least Clark’s shot showed signs of life later.
