Gotcha

I still don't know if I see Sacramento matching if we're offering $40M+

Yeah, that's what I think is going on here, trying to get more out of us. Probably even told Tyreke to see what he could get from ATL.

Because they are probably not just gonna let him walk for nothing. They probably want Vasquez to go with McLemore and have Isiah Thomas as the back up.

Who says he's decided yet. Sacramento probably said all the right things like they see him as a cornerstone and they'll match, and he'll start, not come off the bench. Now he's going to see if Atlanta can get him even more money.

It's a high offer. I can't see them matching it... But I can't see them just letting him walk either. Maybe this is our way of trying to screw them in signing Cousins in a few years?

I don't know what to think anymore!!!

Not possible. Poison Pills only apply to 2nd rounders and UDFAs that have 2 years or less experience in the league. Sac doesn't have cap issues so I'm guessing it's more like a player option in year 3 like Phoenix did to us.

I see what you're saying now. I thought you meant what he could get from Atlanta in a sign and trade for sacramento. I was wondering why he'd gouge the team he's going to for the team he'd be leaving
