5 of the 10 kings players under contract are guards.
4 of those 5 guards are 2guards.
signing evans would put them at 51mil with holes left to fill. unless they can pull off multiple sign & trades by the 10th, evans is coming to nola. it is the 10th right?

I don't know if he will get a better offer than what we offered, but hey I don't know anything. I think Sacramento matches anyway.

I just don't support tyreke passing up on our offer.
That's the thing, he could accept the offer and if the kings match it, he stays a King. Same situation as Gordon and PHX last year. TE needs to let it be known his heart is in NOLA and Sacramento is only a pretty good city

He is not guaranteed to sign our offer sheet though.

No clarity on whether they'd match offer from New Orleans, but Evans left encouraged by the message that was sent. He likes it in Sacto.
I wonder why they didn't clarify if they'd match if they really wanted him so much? The price to high for em?

I don't think Kings keep reke. They just drafted Ben Mc

Tyreke Evans reportedly has been offered 4 yr, 44 Mil by the Pelicansquote:Jason Jones ?@mr_jasonjones 1m Tyreke Evans will meet w/ Atlanta tomorrow. Still had New Orleans offer on table. Met w/ Kings and Detroit today yeesh Yep, sounds like its time to move on

I don't know. It's the Kings we are talking about here. I don't know if they match it or not. Plus we aren't the only team in this, he still has other visits.

going from Tyreke to Brewer would be pretty disappointing

A small market team can't let their 23 year old talented asset just walk
At the end of the day Sacramento has to hold onto its talent because it can never sign any talent otherwise
As NOLA fans we should be able to understand that
I don't see him leaving Sacramento
Only if the Kings just straight up said "no thanks, sign somewhere else" would I feel like they weren't going to go after him. Them showing any interest just tells me they're going to re-sign him.

Kings are fooling themselves if they think he'll take less money to say.
can he even do that?

The part where he likes it in Sac and was encouraged kinda blow, but were talking about professional athletes here they want the $$. From the sounds of it the meeting was probably of the please sign with us for cheaper variety and probably doesn't bode well for them

Didn't someone say that Sam Amick guy is Sacramento's Fletcher?
I don't know if I see them matching what we offered and I have a hard time seeing Tyreke take less to stay in that clusterfrick of an organization. As for visiting other teams, well that's just being smart on his part

Hearing New Orleans offer to Tyreke Evans is constructed to discourage Kings from matching.

After they moved him back to SG from PG a quarter of the season because he couldn't play PG. Goddamn Kings. Has to be the worst franchise in sports.
