$44 million is a lot of fricking money. They have to have a plan unless they're winging it which would be kind of funny.

I can't believe so many people are freaking out about Evans being our three. And by the by, if Lopez got shipped out, it'd more likely be Smith starting, not Anderson.
If we grab Evans and keep the team as currently constructed, we're like the Golden State Warriors' Aggressive Edition. Instead of long range bombing, we just run, run, run, and drive!
It all depends on if these guys can buy in. If they do, our 1-3 is the most athletic in the league and could wreak havoc on opponents at both ends of the floor.
We'll see how it plays out but I can't believe signing a 23 year old that's been stuck on a bad team and has averaged 17.5 PPG for his career is making people "OMG THE SKY IS FALLING AND OUR PARADE JUST GOT RAINED ON!"

I don't think we can do all that without cutting Lopez.
The Evans deal has been reported as "striaght up." Thus we need to clear about 5 mil in cap room....and lopez makes a little over 5 mil and his team option is in 4 days.

Laid back until the buzz got going again.
With Benson taking over and giving Demps the green light, I have a different perspective than what I'm accustomed to out of New Orleans sports.
It's obvious Benson wants to win, and win for several years with the young squad we're attempting to assemble.
