i dont see why Evans cant come off the bench.

if you can play 2-3 positions, you'll play 35 MPG
Exactly

If we trade Gravy, dude can come in and be backup PG, SG, and SF in any given game.

Not that big of a difference, IMO

Apples and oranges to compare Jackson.

No fricking way he turns down $11m because he isn't getting that anywhere else. Dell must think Tyreke is just waiting to explode when he gets out of that shitty Kings situation but damn $11m a year is a huge risk to lock up a guy for 4 years who hasn't really earned it.

EG and Vasquez for Deng?

They need to clear some cap space to give Tyreke that much money and that move wouldn't be enough. I think the rumor earlier or from last night about trading EG and Vasquez for bench players would be more likely so we can save money. Otherwise you have to cut Lopez.

Well any player that actually plays could be a better player than Gordon.

I get that, but it's still extremely misleading. That probably translates to about 28% in the NBA.

He's getting paid 11 million dollars. You already have a bench player making almost 9 million.

A starter making 11 and another starter making 15.

And a gaping hole at 3 and a mediocre player at 5.

They aren't bringing him off the bench. Its just what they are saying while they work on other trades.

He's what you'd call a quasi starter in that situation
