Lowry will be the toughest get. Philadelphia, Miami and New Orleans are among the expected suitors for Lowry. The Pelicans would have to find a taker for Eric Bledsoe to make such a deal happen.
Thoughts?

Doesn’t matter

We will suck as always. Waste zion and he will sign elsewhere.

Downvote away but it’s true and will happen. This organization blows

Not sure if he fits the timeline of the team, sort of reeks of desperation to me.

I’d love it if they can pull it off without a massive overpay.

He’s the sort of longtime on-court leader that knows how to win on and off the court that Griff wrongfully thought JJ and Adams could be.

Griff rightfully identified that we simply lack guys that provide what Lowry does and he’d be a nice fit. Compliments all of Zion, Ingram, and Lonzo well.

That is what happpens when you hire morons like Demps and Griffin to run the franchise into the ground.

Lowry would come in and have a CP3 type effect on this team.

I would fricking love it for the right price.

The timeline stuff is done now that Zion's already complaining.

Would definitely depend on price.

I don’t see Lowry having anywhere close to a CP3 impact but he could have a good impact. I’d be interested.

Side note we really need an admin on this board.

I'm guessing lowry will command a big contract.

I'm into it depending on price.

I think the pels needs to find some deals like crowder for 10 mil and seth curry for 8 mil.

It’s all about the years for me. I don’t really care what he makes a year, but I wouldn’t commit to him for like 4 years.

I'd take a look at lowry or dinwiddie.

Pels need to find some under the radar guys to take a chance on.

And it makes me wonder if they’re just trying to find a guy to fill the spot for a couple years until Kira is ready (assuming he doesn’t get shipped out)

If true, probably what Griffin is thinking. It is a copycat league. Not sure I would count on Lowry having a CP3 effect though.

He wouldn’t. He’s not as good as CP3 and is declining more. But he could have an impact.

I think he will get overpaid though. Anything over 2 years would be bad and we’d have to give him 4 to come here.

Perfect signing.

Will be gone the same year as Zion in 2024.

He wouldn't play wise, and frankly we wouldn't need him to.

He would have a CP3 effect in the leadership/tenacity sense. With that said though, the only way I could see us acquiring him would be via sign and trade, which means it would have to be a 3 year deal, which I wouldn't love unless it's a 3/50 type, then I wouldn't hate it.

Look. They may like Kira. But I guarantee you he plays zero factor in any of these decisions
