Up until last year, this team went four YEARS in between five game winning streaks. It's absolutely ridiculous to hold this team to a 7-1 floor over that stretch, I don't care how bad the schedule is.

See my post in the other thread about expectations.

You do have a point there.

I think we have the best record against top 10 teams. Sucks we cant always play like that against teams under our level.

Fellas, Zion will be on a mission till he plays the Lakers again... I think he keeps this attitude for a minute...
I'm feeling his Stat line will be: 28.5pts, 7reb., 6asst.
B.I. numbers go down a Lil to 21pts.,5 reb., 6asst.
But this run will be about Trey taking another leap and CJ being that steady hand.

Nice to see the Pels doing what the should do against weak teams. And not just winning, but really controlling each game so far in this win streak.

There are some really terrible teams in the nba this season.

January’s schedule is absolutely brutal, so need to really take advantage of this month as we are doing.

January being a little better than .500 would be a success if you look at the games. Also need to be healthy going into Jan.

7-1 only cause we're playing the Jazz. Any other team, we're going 8-0.

3-1 so far. That lose stung a bit.

Despite the Grizz blip, still have a chance at the 7-1 run. Let’s get home, healthy and get it done Pels!

Yea given the schedule and all our collective PTDS I’m skeptical it’s fools gold, but the pelicans have really dominated over their last 6 games (other than about a 10 minute meltdown against Memphis).

It’s encouraging. Ingram and Jonas getting up nearly 6 3’s a game combined over that stretch and doing so at a good clip is great to see. If those guys can consistently chip in from deep it will really go a long way.

We're 5-1 through an 11 game stretch where we'll be favored in all 11.

Take care of business, and we'll be a top 4 seed in the next 1.5-2 weeks.

But like you insinuated, let's reserve judgment on crowning the Pels until we go through the following month's gauntlet and see where we stand after January.

Ever since Trey has came back we've been a completely different team. Playing at a top level since then.

Not taking anything away from Trey, but it did coincide with a really easy portion of our schedule.

For sure, and January will be tough. Pels have this homestand (through end-of-year) against a little better competition to build some consistency that they'll need.

Just realized Pels host lakers on New Year’s Eve, and then Texas Washington New Year’s Day. That’s going to be a killer weekend all around.

It appears it was fools gold.

Can’t lie, these last few losses have been soul crushing. Since the suns series, the belief has largely been we are good enough, just not healthy enough.

But it’s looking like we just might be a fringe playoff team even when healthy.

This time last year supernova Zion made us look like something more. Please come back, supernova Zion. We aren’t really the 2004 pistons and need a true superstar just like everyone else. You’re our only hope!
