All along, the league office had allowed the Hornets to negotiate the Chris Paul trade without interference, sources said. And then, this.

Espn is reporting its off for right now

ESPN has nothing about it getting vetoed but rather the lakers want a big man in the deal

Negative I was just watching it. The deal is off the table as of right now because the owners have interjected and voiced there displeasure of the deal
Eta...now they are it's on gold for basketball reason, whatever the frick that means

ESPN reporting Paul will not attend Hornets camp tomorrow.

What? Why the hell not you little bastard. Get to camp and don't be that guy who whines

Like Pau and Odom. This will go down as the "little bitch" trade if if ever goes through.

Cp3 is skipping hornets camp because his people are telling him the deal is still going to happen and he needs to be prepared to be in lakers camp tomorrow. . Not because he is pouting.

That's a possibility. Stern controls the owners in this league for some reason, and I promise you he very much wants the Hornets to succeed in N.O.

Please let this be true. I hope you're right. I want this trade to happen, it was good for the Hornets IMO.

Well I can see that. I like cp but I just don't want him to whine if it doesn't go through. You get paid to show up and play, so show up and play no matter what team you're on

If not, welcome Rajon Rondo to the Hornets

frick that, when CP sees that we're willing to keep him, I really think he'll be open to extending with more teams so long as he doesn't "waste" a season in NOLA.

So the problem the league had was presumably Dwight to LA. How do they fix that? Make the deal Bynum and Odom/Gasol?

I didn't read most of this thread but i just wanna say that any Hornets fan that thinks the trade being killed was a good thing for the Hornets should just kill themselves. We were gonna be just as good a team as last year with a draft pick

If somehow we end up with Bynum instead of Gasol + the Rockets pieces, I will fap my arse off.
