Anyone stopping by the Pels open practice at SKC on Wed?

Might stop by after work for a bit to check out the new guys and see if i can notice any attitude changes.

This is the day I have been waiting for all of my life. Flight booked, beers in the cooler, and meat on the grill. BEST DAY OF THE YEAR!

He's a little raw, but the potential is surely there. Having Jones to start will definitely help his transition.

Buddy looks loads better compared to SL

Watching the 2nd half on the live stream and I thought the lineups were interesting.

Frazier/Stephenson/Hill grouped together and Galloway/Moore together.

Galloway is so incredibly relaxed with the ball in his hand even under pressure. Etwaun and Solomon are gonna help with defense. Honestly watching Robert Sacre on Defense was interesting, very vocal and willing to be physical on both sides of the ball. We have some good pieces and I think these guys can be pushed to play some really good ball.

Frazier/Stephenson/Hill

Why do I feel like this will be the starting backcourt to start this season, with AD and Asik up front..

Sounds about right to me with holiday and Evans out. Barring injury (likely) I wouldn't be surprised to see lance start over buddy at the shooting guard. Stephenson is in his prime years and playing for a bigger contract. Look for buddy to come off the bench with Galloway or Moore replacing Frazier at the point.

Even if Stephenson morphs back to his 2013 self, that is likely a disaster lineup. Moore or even Hield need to start with that group.

Assuming he makes the team and has anything left, Stephenson needs to be the 6th man that people want Tyreke to be.

I think it's Hield's spot to lose. I wouldn't read too much into Stephenson from an open practice. They have to make a decision on him soon and need as much information available to them as they can muster.

You listen to what this team says it wants to be and Lance was the exact opposite of all of that. I understand that he might help you steal a game or two while Jrue and QPon are out, but he is a mini Tyreke and this team wants guys who are the opposite of Tyreke

I say, bite the bullet and try to survive with Frazier, Moore, Galloway, and Hield as your creators. Yes, Gee will probably have to play 8-10 minutes per game for the first six weeks. But so what? Try to get through it, because when Jrue and QPon get back, there would be no room for Lance anyway

I agree I thought there were moments where the offense seemed to stop with Lance. He made some good plays (the drive and pass to Solo stands out), but overall, to me, he was the antithesis of what this team's sought after identity is meant to be. If they are so desperate for a ball handler Cook didn't look half bad, but at the same time, he's not worth moving another guaranteed roster spot for.

Galloway & Moore can hold their own off the bench and Frazier is adequate enough as starter to get through it until Jrue returns.

All that, plus the true key is AD becoming more of a playmaker. If he can be 80% of what Blake was when CP3 was gone, they will be fine

His handles and passing ability seem to have improved. (AD's I mean)

AD was not shown on the replay stream of the practice. How did he look?
