Currently in the anger phase, then everyone starts planning offseason moves that never happen, then people accept they're stuck with the same team, then Zion takes one good picture and everyone falls for it all over again.

I think most people realize it's just hopium. But he has never been in amazing shape, never. His optimal physique was chisled down to well under 250lbs, as a power wing. Instead people wanted a jacked 6'6 power forward. That was never going to work..

The craziest thing about the Zion situation is how simple it is to fix it. Its all about his support team. They all need to be replaced. He doesn't need a cook and a personal trainer. He needs an entire team of professionals and a mentor (someone like Vince Carter). It would take a few years to totally rebuild him. This year is basically lost. Shut him down until the end of January. He should be isolated in a facility somewhere remote training. In 10 weeks, he could drop 30+lbs easily, plus increase his flexibility and endurance. If he went into the offseason sub 270, he could set himself up for a big summer transformation. If he did that (made that commitment), and played 30ish strong games at the end of this season. We wouldn't be able to void his deal (too much of a risk to let him walk) and his trade value would skyrocket. He just has to show he's willing and put it all into action..

WIKSF in July 2025: "Zion looks SHREDDED in new photos!!! We BACK sons!"

(and he'll delete any offseason threads that question if Zion is in shape )

To be fair the guy did do a whole post apologizing for defending Zion. So maybe we cut him some slack.

We were all wrong about Zion to a degree. Theres no sense in harping on other posters that showed some hope. This is a depressing time for everyone.

Only Zion can fix his issues. They are 100% mental. He has the mentality and maturity of a 13-year old boy.

Not making fun, just predicting the future based on past experiences.

I also predict in the future that you will get mad about something I say and then you'll say something really vulgar and shitty about my character.

Trying to be neutral about things.

I wonder if he's actually putting in the work, but since he's had such a tumultuous career and now another injury it's fool me once shame on me, fool me twice (or a million) shame on you.
