The Sixers asked for Andrew Wiggins, James Wiseman, the Nos. 7 and 14 picks and two future first-rounders in exchange for Ben Simmons, per @PompeyOnSixers
The Warriors quickly turned down the offer. LINK
Sixers aren't going to get shite

What's concerning is that Miami can pay him ~25 mil, while keeping the cap holds for both Robinson and Nunn on their books.
So, that tells me that if he's coming here, he's getting more than 25 mil. Unless they are only willing to go 2 guaranteed years, and we're willing to go 3. Then maybe we can get by with only ~25 mil.
I...did not know that.
Well frick my life.
We are paying that dude 30 mill a year.

Maybe we need to look on the bright side...Lowry would be the first big time FA to chose to come to New Orleans over another team since Peja.

I bet the Warriors would do it for Wiggins, Wiseman, 7 and 14, no future picks.
And honestly I don't think that would be that bad for Philly.

I think I’d rather pay Lonzo 4/100 than Lowry at 3/90.

I’m kind of expecting some wtf/unexpected type transactions tbh.
The AD trade went down about how we imagined, but since then almost everything we have done free agency and trade wise has been somewhat out of left field.
Redick and Favors were surprising developments for most.
Jrue trade to Milwaukee was surprising. I think we were anticipating Atlanta and Golden State more. I dont even think the Bucks came to mind.
Steven Adams inclusion was also out of left field.
The Jonas Val trade was pretty out of nowhere and unexpected. I dont think anyone has said we anticipate getting Val or should try to get him in the last 2 years. I think the only time Val was occasionally mentioned was when trying to comp center contracts with Adams extension.
That being said. What is the next what the frick out of nowhere move? We’ve been tied to so many damn names this offseason. Who are some players that we haven’t been tied to, but are attainable and might make sense for what we are trying to accomplish this year?
For instance. Could we do something nuts and make a godfather offer for Jamal Murray while he is injured? Denver has a decision to make. It’s either commit to that big 3 of Jokic, MPJ and Murray or choose between MPJ and Murray and try to fill out more of a balanced roster.

It's like everyone saw Simmons playoff performance but the Sixers.

I am going to call my out of left field shot:
Terrence Ross for the 17th pick. Orlando is rebuilding and his contract is 12 million and 11 million the next two years. He is 30, so he can fill that veteran roll and can slide into the starting lineup.
I also think we are going to resign Lonzo.

Comical for low energy not give a cr-p Ben

Not sure Griffin will want to give up that much cap space for Terrence Ross.
Posted on 7/29/21 at 3:47 pm to Fun Bunch
Probably not, but it is out of left field.

$25 million with team options in Yr 2 for 30 and Yr 3 for 31
Take it or leave it
Insane $ for a guy close to retiring

The Utah Jazz are a team to watch on draft night, per sources. They’re desperately looking to trade the no. 30 pick and have made some key role players available to offload salary so they can afford to pay Mike Conley this August.
35 and 43 for 30 and Ingles sounds great to me

Per league source to @HoopAnalysisNet, the #Pacers and #Hawks have had conversations centered around Cam Reddish and the No. 13 pick.

Not a legal contract so I guess he would leave it.
You can only have one team option.

Would absolutely LOVE this and Griffin would be redeemed quite a bit in my eyes.
Posted on 7/29/21 at 3:53 pm to Soggymoss
Damn. That would be a good deal for the Hawks.
