Sexton isn’t good enough to have to take on Love and give up any value.
MAYBE if they take Bledsoe and Adams and no 1sts are involved.

Prince. Ok. Love. No way.
Bledsoe/Iwundu/#10 for Sexton/Prince.

Not that i don't want more wings, but I'd rather Naji get minutes than Prince. Prince isn't anything special, and he's a known low BBIQ player.
I'd rather the cap space than take on Prince.
I do not want Kevin Love unless it means we don't have to trade the #10 pick away.

I wouldn't either, i'm just saying when i play around with the trade machine with a Bledsoe for Sexton/Prince trade, it doesn't really leave us with nice cap space options.
If you do that trade then renounce Lonzo and Hart, we have maybe $15M in cap space and 12 players on the team (i usually put in a 2/$4M deal for Billy, renounce Nunnally and dump Iwundu). That leaves us around $98M in salaries. So you could essentially go out and get someone for around that $15M, which means you would'nt be able to keep Hart with his $10m cap hold and you would'nt have the MLE, although you would have the 2/$10M room MLE to use as a team that went under the cap to sign FA's. Or you could S&T swap with Lonzo to bring someone in and be over the cap and then use the full 4/$41M MLE, and you'd also be able to bring Hart back if you wanted.
If if was just Sexton for Bledsoe, that leaves you with $28M in cap space if you renounce Lonzo and Hart, or you could keep Hart and have $18M to use on a FA.
I don't think we are going to be able to swing a reasonable deal with Lonzo getting a good player back. I'd rather just go out and sign our own FA around $18M and bring back Hart. You could then use the Room MLE
So long story short.
Sexton/Prince/$15M FA/Room MLE/minimum contract
Sexton/Prince/Lonzo/Hart/MLE
Sexton/Prince/Lonzo trade/Hart/MLE
Sexton/$25M FA/room MLE/2 minimum contracts or $20MFA/$5MFA/1 minimum contract
Sexton/$18M FA/Hart/room MLE/minimum contract
I like the second to last option the best b/c it allows you to bring in two mid tier guys like Forbes and Gay, as well as a big FA like Duncan.
Sexton/Kira/Ish Smith (minimum)
NAW/Forbes ($5M FA)/Didi
BI/Duncan Robinson($20M FA)/Naji
Zion/Rudy Gay(room MLE)/Wenyen
Adams/Hayes/Billy

That's a solid team right there. You really don't have any holes.

Word has spread across front offices around the NBA: Bradley Beal is weighing whether to request a trade from the Washington Wizards.
“He knows he has to make a decision before the draft,” said one source with knowledge of Beal’s thinking. More @BR_NBA:

If Beal is traded, I’d have to think he’s going to GSW.

Right, but it could be the start of a lot of movement. For instance, if the Warriors add Beal, and the Blazers couldn't beat Denver without it's starting back court, does that make Dame just give up and force a trade?

Should the Raptors move Siakam? LINK

Bledsoe, Adams, and Picks for Siakam…sign & trade Lonzo and future picks for Simmons.
You have one of the most switchable and versatile defensive lineups in the league.
If you have room for an MLE after that bring in a vet guard that you can run minutes with Kira.
I don’t actually think this is the best scenario, but it’s certainly a shake-up. It only works if Simmons agrees to play the 5 along with Siakam in defensive rotations. He can alternate running the breaks with Zion off of rebounds, but he until he can shoot he can’t be a point guard for us.

I really like Siakam, think someone will get a nice buy low deal on him if the raptors are blowing it up.
Posted on 7/24/21 at 11:04 am to TechTiger
People do understand you need to be able to shoot the ball and balance the floor in today’s game correct?
Siakam, Zion, and Simmons would be a terrible fit.

We may be about to go from no sellers to every team jumping into the market.

GS and Philly feel like the only two actual real options.
Not sure a Curry, Beal, Klay lineup can win it all, but it would be an offensive juggernaut. But probably something more akin to the Suns of old in that it will lead the league in scoring and in the bottom half in D.
Beal to Philly is what I want personally. West is already so stacked. Plus, I like Embiid and want to see him have an actual complimentary running mate and Beal is that.

What's this about kawhi maybe going to golden state?

Well they wouldn’t get both him and Beal….and he won’t play this year either. Maybe he’s ready by the playoffs, but why risk re-injury.

My god. And one of the most poorly spaced teams in the past 20 years. Would be an abject disaster on offense.
