He gives you one elite skill and he's below average to bad everywhere else. He's just an extremely limited player. And he's not even the best shooting prospect in this draft, much less your claim that he's the best in years.
I just don't like the strategy of drafting for short-sighted needs in the lottery. If we were picking at 20 or later, I'd be fine with Hawkins. At 14, hell of a reach.

Hawkins is the best overall shooter in this class... he moves very well without the ball, and even gives you a bit of slasher with his game... also, a decent defender...
