Houston's natural landing spot for Bosh: Can play PF next to Dwight Howard, make $20M-plus and return to home state w/ a title contender.

Charlotte's Josh McRoberts emerging as serious free agent candidate for Miami, sources tell Yahoo. Realistic option at mid-level exception.

Josh McRoberts is a full MLE guy?
Posted on 7/7/14 at 12:06 pm to Fun Bunch
Taxpayer MLE maybe? It sounds like the reports of Big 3 paycuts were wrong.

I retweeted that because, if true, that could be huge. If he has until the 15th to get all other moves in order, that makes a BIG difference
Good news. Much better chance that we will be able to keep our MLE by not having to rush anything.

Like I said before, there really is no reason to rush us other than to intentionally screw us over. I doubt we're the only team willing to give up a 1st for Asik. Now maybe the other options were heavily protected picks from bad teams that are effectively 2017 picks rather than a 2015 pick, but I would imagine our agreement was made with the stipulation that we needed to complete cap clearing moves that were favorable to us.

McRoberts would be an a awesome piece for a contender IMO.

Seeing how Bulls, Rockets and Mavs are all engaged with other free agents sure suggests they buy premise Melo is down to Knicks and Lakers

The Heat continue shopping full MLE (about 5.3M) to a # of players, essentially operating as a capped team, b4 nailing down other options.

I just haven't seen him enough lately to know that he was a full MLE type guy.

It's not new information. It's reiterating old information in lieu of the rumor that Houston was making July 10 some kind of deadline.

That was not even a rumor, it was a speculative concern turned into a BSS article. It's a thought worth exploring, but let's not give it more weight than it deserves.

but mcnamara wrote an article posted today about the dangers of a july 10 deadline, see the quote posted by tigerinATL above...
and then today he retweets something from a week ago that pretty much makes that article pointless?
just odd, and i'm bored

Depending on James' and Bosh's decisions, they could need deals like that to meet the floor.
Have you met Eric?
