I don’t think people are mad at the win/loss. It’s more of the way we are losing and choking these leads. How Stan benches players when they get hot or let a player shoot 6 straight times and he goes 0/6.

I would be annoyed if I hustle my arse off and see a guy brick so much. Only guys who I don’t mind shooting like that are constant superstars that can carry (Dame, Harden, Luka and Durant). Ingram isn’t at that level yet.

BAD DEFENSE

This is why I can't blame coaching. this is just Bledsoe being an idiot. Adams worked to hard for Bledsoe to give that up.

But the guy needs to change the starting lineup also. Bledsoe and Ball is not a great duo together.

I want to agree with this too, but our starting unit actually seems to start the game well. We jumped to a big lead last night on Detroit.

The personnel is an issue. For sure.

But they should not be this bad. They should not get annihilated by this dreadful Pistons team.

When a team does the same thing over and over again it’s the coaching. It’s on the coaching that they can’t stop 3s.

The game has passed him by.

Agree. He is not the coach for this team. I do not think they buy in to his defensive scheme. He has them running all over the place on defense and they are getting worn out. That is more of an old school philosophy when scores were lower and pace was slower.

Thinking the same thing. What is odd though is the way SVG rotates the rest of the game. He typically does not have BI and Zion on the court much the rest of the way. He also seems to split Ball and Bledsoe in rotations. Not sure if he is trying to compensate for a terrible bench or just bad rotations.

Our defense is just high school level and SVG is supposed to be a defensive coach. Get your supposed strength in order and quit bitching to the media every day

Can't get over Griffin specifically talking about building a team of tough guys, then watching at team full of cast off scrubs like Dennis Smith Jr and Josh Jackson bully Kira on the court and not one of our guys had shite to say or do about it.

JJ said its the most quiet group he's ever been around. Im not sure there's a softer team in the league. You let a bunch of dudes who'll be at g league tryouts in the offseason dog your rookie and just sat there and watched. Pathetic.

Yep, that was...not good.

Kira the rookie was the only dude who stood up for himself. He got nothing from his teammates, nothing. That doesn't sit well with me.

I'm pretty confident that Kira is better right this moment than either of those 2 dudes will ever be, and Kira held his own with both. He didn't NEED the help, but that's not the point. You stick up for your dudes, we didn't do that.

I think SVG said as much in that specific situation, he said something about having high character guys but that we don't have competitive guys.

Yeah, one of my top priorities in a trade return is someone with some damn fire and attitude

We’re too tame and quiet as a group

Maybe because it was nothing. I mean Jackson blocked his shot and got in his face. Big deal. It was not a blow up or "bullying." It is not something our players need to react to and get technicals.

Maybe the guy with that fire to push back against other team's intimidation tactics was the guy that was being intimidated. Kira didn't give an inch, and as a smaller player he's probably been having to do that his whole life. Can Chihuahuas be junk yard dogs?

I am so ready to ship the old guys out, give the keys to Kira and see what happens. Maybe he fails, but at least you learn that before the 2021 draft. Or maybe he's the lead guard this team has been looking for, which also would be good to know before the draft.

I really think that, tomorrow, Kira is going to start and Bledsoe is going to come off the bench.

I would bet Bledsoe still starts, but loses minutes in the rotations to NAW and Kira.

Give him the mtfing keys and lets see honestly.

February #s:
16.3 MPG; shooting 46.3/38.5/75.0
7.0 PPG, 1.1 RPG, 1.7 APG, 0.9 TOV, 1.1 SPG

I get that he's smaller and bully ball will beat him up, but at this point what do we have to lose.

I'm on board now, that was completely incompetent coaching the final 5 minutes.
