I'm not sure if it would work but what do you think about Douglas for Jones and Augustin? Thunder can waive Douglas and we can possibly flip Augustin to Dallas for Dwight Powell and a conditional pick since they need PG depth

augustin + jones = 5MM+
douglas = $1.2MM

thats not even close
cant even trade douglas for jones straight up, its about $160K short

4/70MM offer for kanter, 4th yr player option + a trade kicker. NO WAY the thunder should match this...thats insanity for a true one-way player

They'll match it, they're in desperate make up for stupid decisions so KD doesn't leave us mode. Keeping James Harden for the max seems like a bargain in hindsight.

Kanter averaged 18.7 points and 11.0 rebounds in 26 games (all starts) after he arrived, but is a disaster defensively; The Thunder allowed 110.4 points per 100 possessions with him on the floor. He played only nine games with Ibaka before Ibaka was lost to a knee injury.

the thinking i'm guessing is that he wont be such a defensive disaster playing with ibaka, but if a defender follows ibaka outside, it will be a conga line to the hoop

Max Kanter and trade Harden. Solid plan IMO.

If there's a way to do it, getting Perry Jones would be a nice move.

So it's OK to go into the tax for Kanter but not Harden?

gotta remember. They have Monty now. He's going to become a defensive stud.

Wow. From a beat guy, that's harsh. Funny and not wrong, but harsh.

Credit Alvin Gentry today, who spent 15 minutes answering questions from media, then hung around a bit more. Total 180 from Monty. #Pelicans

@ScottDKushner How did Monty treat the media when he was here?

@JTrey3 -He generally saw it as an annoyance, but he appeared when he was told to & answered questions. Just certainly wasn't eager to do it

It's a good little move for the Mavs.

He's no DJ but Zaza is an ok player. Stops the bleeding a bit.
