You’re not as good of a troll as you think you are and you change subjects when you’re losing arguments

I’ve laid it out as simply as possible, if you don’t understand or comprehend what I’m saying, that’s on you.

Lol you had nothing to do with that man firing his employee. I was asking shel the question. And as far from trolling who got time for that.

exactly he hasn’t broken the law. He can’t be arrested Just like the last incident they found he did nothing wrong but was still suspended. Now this is a similar situation being exculated.

Utterly and completely false. He absolutely did things wrong.

The NBA said at the time that he did things wrong:

quote:

“Ja’s conduct was irresponsible, reckless and potentially very dangerous,” NBA commissioner Adam Silver said in a statement. “It also has serious consequences given his enormous following and influence, particularly among young fans who look up to him.

I don't know about you, but "irresponsible, reckless and potentially very dangerous" sounds wrong to me.

But the flashing the gun in the strip club was only the latest incident with Ja. If you don't think that the following things are wrong, then we have nothing further to talk about.

1) He threatened a kid with a gun for stuff in a pickup game.

quote:

Morant repeatedly punched a teenage boy in the head during a pickup basketball game at Morant’s house, the boy told police. Morant and his friend struck the 17-year-old so hard they knocked him to the ground and left him with a “large knot” on the side of his head, according to a police report narrative written by deputies who said they observed the boy’s injuries.

2) He and his posse threatened Pacers staff with a red laser sight.

quote:

Several acquaintances of Memphis Grizzlies star Ja Morant allegedly “aggressively confronted” members of the Indiana Pacers staff after their game at the FedExForum last month.

The group, according to The Athletic’s Bob Kravitz and Sam Amick, then allegedly trained a red laser on the Pacers staff from a slow-moving SUV. Morant was reportedly in the SUV, and the Pacers staff and additional security believed the laser was attached to a gun — though it's unclear who was controlling it.

“We felt we were in grave danger,” one person told The Athletic anonymously out of fear of retaliation.

The incident took place after what was a contentious game on Jan. 29. The Grizzlies beat the Pacers 112-100, but the postgame incident followed one in the third quarter in which one of Morant’s longtime friends, Davonte Pack, actually walked out onto the court and started yelling at Pacers players.

The game was briefly halted and Pack was removed from the floor after he, along with Morant’s father, Tee Morant, and members of both teams “verbally sparred.”

3) He threatened a security guard in a mall parking lot.

quote:

Confronted by the director of mall security, Morant and his friends refused the security guard’s demands to leave the mall parking lot. Police arrived and a “verbal confrontation” escalated, the report says, until someone in the group allegedly pushed the security director in the head.

“As the group was leaving the premises … Ja Morant said, ‘Let me find out what time he gets off,’ ” police wrote in the report.

The guard wanted to file a report, police wrote, “because he felt threatened by the statement from Ja Morant” and had been assaulted by the person who had pushed him. The “disturbing parties left the scene,” and no arrests were made.

I get the history makes this look bad and it’s stupid for him to keep putting hisself in these positions. It’s so easy not to record and not post

But as a stand-alone incident, how is this different from someone taking photos of themselves with guns prior to a hunting trip?

But it's not a stand alone incident. It's not just tied to the other events, it's tied to disciplinary action that was supposed to correct his behavior. They can't just let this go. Unless he makes a sincere effort to change, like cuts ties with bad influences or spends the summer in rehab, it seems like they need to be harsher than the 8 games he was suspended by the team before.

Ok

quote:

I don't know about you, but "irresponsible, reckless and potentially very dangerous" SOUNDS wrong to me.

Jacking off SOUNDS wrong but people still do it.
As far as the kid thing goes. Kids like what they like and it’s not always the good stuff.
A.C Green was celibate for his entire career and never got in trouble won championships and was an all star. Who looked up to him? Nobody he was boring.

quote:

He threatened a kid with a gun for stuff in a pickup game.
The threat who cares, the punching absolutely wrong I give you that

quote:

believed the laser was attached to a gun — though it's unclear who was controlling it

He is taking the blame for this situation because nobody knows the other people. And all they know it was a light

quote:

He threatened a security guard

quote:

no arrests were made.
nothing to see here

Chris Mannix in SI

quote:

The NBA’s response may not be swift, but if its investigation shows this latest incident is what it looks like, expect it to be severe. The league likely believes it showed Morant compassion in March. Morant confessed to dealing with anxiety. With stress. With how to manage his anxiety and stress. He looked Silver in the eye and expressed, as Silver phrased it, “sincere remorse.” Morant’s previous eight-game suspension was significant but a fraction of what it could have been. The NBA won’t be as lenient this time.
quote:

What must the commissioner be thinking now? A 20-game suspension has to be automatic. Rival executives believe half a season—or more—isn’t out of the question.

Another exec tells SI, “[Silver has] got to set an example.”

quote:

In March, Morant said he realized what he has to lose. “I made mistakes in the past that caused a lot of negative attention, not only to me, but my family as well, my team, the organization, and I’m completely sorry for that,” Morant told reporters. “So, you know, my job now is being more responsible, smarter, and don’t cause any [more off-court controversy] anymore.”

He wasn’t. He hasn’t. And now Morant, and the Grizzlies, will pay a price.
