This is the correct answer.

Furthermore, you'd think that seeing as Kawhi stated he'd give Toronto the last meeting that nothing is certain.

I think people are simply going off the Lakers meeting his "demands" as equaling he'll accept. It is more likely that those things have to be in place before he will even consider it.

This is the NBA though and primadonna athletes we are talking about here.

I do also remember the 2004 Lakers being a dream team also, and that didn't lead to a title. It happens.

I hope his demands are just "fire Pelinka and bring back Magic" before I even consider. Lakers fire Pelinka for Magic and then he re-ups in Toronto.

If the doomsday scenario happens and Kawhi signs with the Lakers is there anyone really left to fill out that roster?

At least the Clips and Raptors have other pieces in place.

Super teams always find a way.

Depth will be questionable year 1, and these superteams are usually made up of younger guys that don't have major injury concerns.

Year 2 their depth will be fine.

Top end talent conquers all over a short term.

I hope the super team era is at its end. The Warriors dominance is finally over, the last thing I want is for the Lakers to take up that mantle.

Doesn't really matter. They will get enough ring chasers and buyouts with 3 top 5ish players in LA.

Wesley Matthews signs a vet minimum with the Bucks. A guy the Lakers could have definitely gotten

Yeah. Things are going to be very interesting once the Kawhi domino falls.

Frank Kaminsky signs with Sun 2/10

Nerlens Noel signs with OKC again after doing it and then changing his mind a day ago

So I’m guessing Boogie is holding tight waiting on Kawhi to sign knowing that if Kawhi doesn’t sign with LAC/LAC then they will have a boat load of $$ to spend.

Morris is more likely to get a big deal from one of the LA teams over boogie

Or he's going to follow Kawhi and sign for the minimum to try to get a ring.
