I still think the Pels are in the running for Horford. The whole bit about them being "outbid" is a cat-and-mouse game.
I think this is a good point. If there were a deal done, as the Philly fans were claiming yesterday, it wouldn't be secret. Woj would already have tweeted it. We wouldn't be hearing about the Kings, Mavs, and even the Celtics (lol). Are we really supposed to believe that there are multiple teams offering over $100 million for Horford?

exactly. look at the news about Kemba Walker. 4/141 to the Celtics, that's it, done deal
JV with his deal with Memphis.
There has been so much smoke about the Horford "mystery team" but nothing definite. What does that say? They are still trying to get a better deal

Should we just make this the Official Free Agency thread since you know multiple people will make threads about whoever we sign when we sign them?
Also, are there any dominoes out there that will hold up the market? Or have many of the big deals already leaked and things will start happening fast in a few hours?

An undeniable vibe of confidence is emanating from Brooklyn as we speak: The Nets sure seem to believe they are getting Kevin Durant's commitment tonight to go with Kyrie Irving"s ... with DeAndre Jordan, Durant's close friend, to follow

If KD is going to Brooklyn with Kyrie and DeAndre Jordan then they need to clear cap space, and the Pels are the perfect team to take their useful contracts into space in exchange for 2nds and the 2nd round pick we drafted that they wanted.

Impossible. He's going to CC for the minimum.

Hearing strong rumblings that KD headed to Brooklyn & Lakers in lead for Kawhi
Keep in mind Broussard is considered more of a joke and not a news breaker.

Im sticking to Toronto until he signs elsewhere

Multiple sauces say Broussard still an idiot.

Are we thinking that Jordan is getting paid? If so, that’s stupid. Him taking the room exception makes the most sense to me, but who knows.

Once free agency opens at 6 PM ET, Brook Lopez is planning to sign a four-year, $52M deal to stay with the Milwaukee Bucks, league sources tell ESPN.

Woj reporting Lopez staying with the Bucks
Posted on 6/30/19 at 3:34 pm to TigerinATL
Broussard and Stephen A are the national media’s Fletch.
Posted on 6/30/19 at 3:35 pm to TigerinATL
Yeah I figured why would Lopez leave a championship contender and a good situation. That’s a good deal for the Bucks.

Wondering who we go after after all the chips fall. I think Brogden and Dedmon are most likely pickups
Posted on 6/30/19 at 3:37 pm to whodat24
Why would Brogdon seem likely? We have our starting guards. We are gonna offer 20+ for a bench player? Because that’s how much he will cost. Hard for me to see that making any sense.

That's piggy backing off of the big news breakers re: Durant considering the nets reported confidence.
Kawhi is radio silent other then rumblings about him going somewhere with a high level FA

Well, it looks like Brooklyn is using the Room exception on Temple...
