Got the OKC game on..
Every freakin time I look up its either SGA shooting free throws or TNT showing stats for why he should be MVP

Strus also hit 4 3’s in the span of like 90 seconds a few minutes before that. I was watching the game live and called the buzzer beater good out of his hands. What a shot

One impressive thing about the Cavs...
It seemed pretty clear early in the season that Allen/Mobley just don't fit.
Then Mobley got hurt and the Cavs started winning.
Now Mobley has returned and 2 things are simultaneously happening...the Cavs are still winning going 10-3 since his return, AND Allen/Mobley still do not fit since his return.
Mobley has had a positive plus/minus 4 times in those 13 games.
Couple of other tidbits, Mobley returned on a minutes restriction and the Cavs were likely intentionally playing him those minutes before the 4th quarter so he'd run out of minutes and sit late. Also, his minutes restriction is over, but the Cavs haven't gotten him back to his normal allotment of minutes.
One of those 2 are gone this offseason. Keep the phone nearby, Griff!!

I agree, Mobley is a prototypical stretch 5 in today’s NBA. It just doesn’t make sense to have him beside Allen. I would think it’s much much more likely they look to depart with Allen, who I also think is a perfect fit on this roster. I’d give up a lot for Allen on this team
Editing to add Mobley is probably a better fit for our roster but those type of stretch 5’s just don’t get moved. It’s crazy Myles Turner is STILL with the pacers after 9 seasons

Other than the “stretch” part. He’s only made 55 3ps in his NBA career. I would still bet on Vinson be able to make him respectable, but he’s not there yet
This is a moot point though, the Cavs are not moving Mobley. Our only hope is that they flame out in the playoffs in such a spectacular way that it changes their mindset. Even then, they would almost assuredly choose keeping Mobley over Allen.

Should I bring back the Hachimura debate.. Shooting 42% from 3 this year

Clippers completely fell apart in the 4th quarter as the Lakers have outscored them 37-12 and lead by 6 with 90 seconds left. Only 3 games above the 10 seed, assuming they hold on. Very tight race between 5-10.

I strongly dislike Lebron but man he was vintage tonight. Fun game to watch

Yeah. He’s asking for another trade

From the full quote, he's talking more so about being without his family.

Spurs are tied at 107 with the Thunder with 7:33 left in the game. Definitely surprising that the game is tied at this point.
EDIT: Spurs now up 3 with 4 minutes left. Fun game.
EDIT 2: Holy cow. Wemby just stuffed SGA at the rim at one end and then hit a deep 3 at the other to put the Spurs up by 9 with 3:23 left.
EDIT 3: Unreal. Wemby hits another 3, and then blocks Chet. He's just completely taken over the game. Spurs up 11 with 1:10 to go.
EDIT 4: Spurs win.

That block on Chet was unreal.. Chet is 7’1, he’s probably never had a jump shot blocked like that in his life. Wemby is the absolute perfect NBA player. He’s a freak of nature

Lakers keep winning. GSW keep winning. I wouldn’t want either of them in the play in with the whistle we and they get.
Gotta start taking care of business and stop fricking aboot !

Eh, they needed OT to beat the Wizards. Their offense is pretty inconsistent, they basically live and die by DLo
Posted on 3/1/24 at 2:25 am to spaghettioeauxs
Still wouldn’t fancy them in a play in with how games are being officiated.

Russell Westbrook has a fractured left hand. Could that mean an opening for the 4 seed??
