Good win. Ugly but we beat a good team. I’ll take it. Don’t apologize for 3-1

On the low key, Pels won this game with 2nd./3rd. quarter D … good team win.

Real mental toughness tonight.

To get back in the game, sure. To take a double digit lead in the 4th, absolutely. But OKC missed some shots in the last couple minutes that would have won it. Regardless, very nice win, ugly as it was at the end.

I almost sent a trashy post in the middle of quarter two…but I held back because I didn’t want to be called a hater at the end of quarter four. Great comeback but they need to practice free throws at midnight.

Can we channel more of that offense when Jonas was in and the ball was moving around

They missed because of our defense. They weren’t open looks.

But OKC missed some shots

Did you see the first quarter?

Want to talk about missing some shots, we missed everything, and still came back. I don’t want to hear shite about OKC missing shots, we hit our shots in the first quarter and Zion and CJ don’t even play half the 4th

CJ was YUGE. I forgive him missing those 2 ft’s. He was awesome after that.

And that is why I think Griff went and got CJ. He knew we needed a pros pro that was actually good enough to be a key contributor (not the washed up vet). He took over the team and got these young guys in order and was a calming presence.

They literally couldn’t score on Herb. Dyson and nance great defense too. If only Zion decides to play some defense lol

What a roller coaster of a game.

My takeaways:

Christian James McCollum!

I love Jordan Hawkins, he will be more than just a catch and shoot 3 guy.

Zion's effort on D was maybe the worst I've seen in his 5 seasons. He didn't notch 8 assists but overall that was just an awful Zion game, and we still won on the road against a good team while down 22 without Ingram. I'll take it!

Incredible effort from the Pels. OKC is a good team. Down 22 and storm back behind CJ and Jonas. Zion kicked it in gear and Herb showed that he’s all NBA defense.

Not even sure it makes sense to love Hawkins after going 4 for 19 with 10 points, but I do.

Not worried about 2 for 13 from 3,they were open looks and I have confidence they'll fall. I just love that he's willing to let it fly and showing he has more in his bag than I think many thought.

Hawkins had best effort for the FULL game. Hes our best rebounding guard. Makes assists. Hes played overall amazing. I severely doubted him and Im so glad I was so wrong.

It’s hard to believe he’s a rookie honestly. He doesn’t play like a rookie. When his shot starts falling people are going to fall in love with the guy.
