Gentry could turn the 96 bulls into a below average defensive team

It's borderline impressive just how quickly this team went from must watch to difficult to watch

In this particular game, with the shots we've taken, if we would hit our usual percentage, then yes we would be winning, or right there
If you think simply shooting a better percentage would've changed the outcome of a curb stomping when you give up 100+ points in 3 quarters, you're delusional.

By that logic, we wouldn't be 0-4.

I've given him quite the benefit of the doubt, but it is really hard to take one of the best offensive coaches, one of the best defensive coaches, and produce this sort of output.

I am starting to go back to the critiques mentioned a couple of seasons ago about how undisciplined Gentry keeps things. Uncle Gentry. A guy that vets love because he keeps things loose but a coach that is cancer to younger teams that need direction and guidance.

The fact that Jah was playing over Jax shows how incompetent Alvin is

This is the naw we saw in preseason and summer league. Let him play with some actual talent and he can do stuff for you

Regressing? It’s 3 games. We don’t even know who they are. They don’t even have the rotations down yet. They are missing three starters. Not to mention GS is getting EVERY call. This isn’t the reason for the sluggish play, but damn, some of you (not necessarily YOU) are being really irrational.

Uncle AL always manages to give a team a 45 point quarter that just completely wrecks gameplans

I'm sorry, I was under the impression that if you put up more points than the other team you win the game

Doesnt matter if you give up 100 in 3 quarters, if you put up 101 you are winning

Alright. I’m calling it a night.

Let the record show I made it to the 6:50 mark of the 4th quarter.

The positives of this crappy game is Ingram continues to look really good, and Jaxson needs minutes. He looks great on offense, and at times good on defense, better than Favors, Okafor and Melli. Just needs to learn more about how to play smart team defense, and he’ll only get that by playing and watching film of himself.

What is hard to grasp?

Like I asked that other poster, what in this game do you think the team has done better relative to their first three outings?

I can't name a single thing. That is regression.

Like I said, like I mentioned for the last few games, all I want to see is positive growth. This has been the opposite of that. This was a perfect team to get some confidence against and instead we shite the bed in what could easily be int he echelon of all-time bad performances in Pelicans history.

This is a fricking joke. This is some of the worst defense I’ve ever seen on any level.

I’ve had enough of Lonzos attitude. Ready to trade him. His too cool I don’t care Cali attitude irritates me on the court.
