New CBA RULE: A player must play 65+ games to be eligible for awards, MVP, Bonuses

Well guess this eliminates Zion from these categories.

Those changes will not go into effect this season. But it really doesn't make that much of a difference since most of the people voting on those awards typically used that standard anyway.

I feel like there should be an award for the player that played the most minutes

Mikal Bridges would win it every year but it is still something of an Iron-Man situation.

Bridges has played in at least 30 minutes in 68 games this year and over 40 in 22 games. He will also most likely play 83 games this year and over 3000 minutes.

I was curious so...
Players who would've won this award the past 5 years:
2023: Bridges
2022: Bridges
2021: Randle
2020: McCollum
2019: Beal

With a 10 million dollar bonus to the award.

Is there a definition of "played in a game?" Can a team put a guy in say 30 seconds before the end of a quarter then pull him for the rest of the game and get him listed as having played in it?
