Jared Butler and Tacko Fall, but yes, you are right.

OKC dominated as they should given their young talent advantage.

I'm not chet hater but summer league is s... when you want to predict the future of a rookie, that's just facts. It will be cool if Chet does the same thing in Season and PO but right now....

It tends to be a barometer of whether a player belongs or not, at least for young guys just entering the league. It doesn’t mean it’s a guarantee they will be a great player, and struggling doesn’t rule out success, just like when Trae Young struggled it didn’t mean he wouldn’t be a good pro

I don’t think anyone watching Chet thinks he’ll come out the gate in the NBA averaging 25-10, or even that he might not struggle initially, but things like the timing, anticipation, footwork, shooting, defensive and offensive awareness, all those are transferable skills. Similar to how you could watch Jose and Trey and see those skillls may take some time to translate, but they are transferable.

Lets see if he can adjust

Yep. Kenny Lofton Jr has been bullying Chet. He has 14 pts in the 1st half. Not bad for an undrafted player

I love his low-post and fadeway a lot (he was very good with team usa on it).
I suppose he's undrafted due to his weight.

If Lofton did this to Chet, imagine what Zion will do.

Tari Eason looking like a stud on back to back plays. Houston’s going to need some veterans but their young core is crazy

Summer league ball definitely doesn’t suit Jabari’s game. Especially with a bunch of guys trying to get theirs.

nobody on that rockets roster will be able to maximize Smith’s strengths. They don’t have a a guy who can get Smith the ball in his spots.

It’s really noticeable when Tari is defending him.

I must have missed those plays lol. The play by play announcer was literally calling him out multiple times for being selfish and making bad decisions throughout the game.
