I never doubted his ability. He’s 7 feet tall, can drain shots from anywhere on the court and he averaged like 3 or 4 blocks a game in college. If his body holds up his ceiling is the roof.

In most other draft classes Chet is the undoubted #1. In this one you just also had Jabari and Paulo who just look more durable and have similarly high ceilings

Absolutely, and if Dyson balls out either these haters will be too embarrassed to post or will be nutting themselves as hypocrites.

SL shows that you belong, and Chet is showing he belongs. Does it mean he will be a future Hall of famer? No. But I don’t know how you watch his shooting, athleticism, iq on both sides of the ball and go, I don’t believe in that transferring

The Jazz must not had a 1st round pick since Mitchell there lack of young talent is striking.

JMO...Chet has a MUCH higher ceiling than Jabari or Paulo...even at 195 lbs...but has a lower floor. If he weighed 20 lbs more...there would be NO doubt who would be the 1st pick in the draft. I woulda taken Chet #1 even at 195...but then... that's what makes the world go round.

Bruh they're featuring chet if guards in the summer league are backing him down in the post this isn't good lol

He’s got 6 blocks and like 3 of them were against the bigs on the other team. Stuffed a forward’s dunk attempt and I think he blocked Kofi (a legit giant manchild) twice

I like Chet, but I can't wait to see him get bullied by Zion

I'm not chet hater but summer league is s... when you want to predict the future of a rookie, that's just facts.
It will be cool if Chet does the same thing in Season and PO but right now....

It’s the little things he showed tonight too. He didn’t back down from anyone at the rim. He allowed no easy baskets. He talked and borderline led others on defense. He was engaged on the bench. He gave his postgame interview with his arm around Josh Giddey and tried to make the game more about his teammates than it being his debut.

My comp for him before the draft with Porz with better intangibles. I will mostly stick with that, but he also has more ball handling chops than I expected.

So Porz with Lamar Odom ballhandling and elite intangibles is my new comp for Chet.

Chet wouldn’t give an interview unless he had a teammate with him

At worst, I'm just down for the competition. Pels vs OKC in the Summer League finals.

After seeing NAW & Jax dominate, I know Summer League doesn't always translate to real games. But sometimes it does.

Either way, if OKC is ballin' in Summer League, I want the Pels' young stars to out-perform them in Summer League.

Name one guy from Utah team—OKC is pretty much playing with an all star team of lottery picks and Utah has a bunch of dudes from across the street out there.

They traded for 11 and moved up from 4 to 2 in the lottery drawing
