I used to think the death lineup would include Herb....but Naji can get a bucket however. He actually has a move that he can go to every time if he needed (the floater) and he has a lot of success with it.

Ingram would be guaranteeing money earlier and it would let the team build better around him, but in doing so he'd be postponing a $15 million a year raise by about 2 years.

With the injuries and medical issues BI has had I bet he takes any max extensions offered as soon as they come up.

Naji is who Hart has always had the potential to become. Naji all day.

He just wasn’t drafted and Hart was…

They are comparable with Hart being a better rebounder.
I am not sure if that is scheme or not, but Hart did still rebound well with Green as a coach.

Naji, Trey and Herb, really need to rebound better.

Really depends what Naji will get paid in the next few years.

Naji, IMO, has become at worst, our second most important bench player. Jose and Naji are the dudes. I trust them way more than Trey at this point

Larry Nance would like a word.

Hart is the better player but Naji is the better value

And when you break it down into value:performance, Naji wins

Now if Naji’s number goes up to Hart’s level, or Hart’s fell. Yeah, give me Hart. But given the salaries we have, and will continue to have, we need value guys that over perform and that is Naji to a t

Per 36 Naji is 15/5/3.5 this year and his last half season as a Pel Hart was 14.4/8.3/4.4. Rebounding and playmaking is the main difference, but I think Naji "Magic Johnson" Marshall will get those assist numbers up now that he's starting to feel himself as a playmaker.

We can still consistently beat the teams we are supposed to beat without our 2 best guys. Obviously CJ is a big part of that; however, I could argue Naji is every bit as important as CJ in that category. I feel like Willie tells Naji night to night what role he needs to fill and he just does it. I feel he and Hart are very comparable guys.

TEAMS THAT DO WELL IN THE PLAYOFFS HAVE HART/NAJI TYPES ON THE ROSTER. Guys that do all the little things when the roster is healthy in limited mins and guys that step up and fill alpha roles with big mins when the roster is not healthy. They are also extremely durable so in addition to their high levels of grit, they always seem to be AVAILABLE!
