Wow.
Interested to see what the Pacers do with turner gone.
He was a pretty big part of that team.

And what difference it would have made when they wanted additional pick this year, so they can select 2 players?

Wow! And the Bucks are back up again. Still think the Pacers make the playoffs from having a great coach and a weak East.

LOL and Giannis is staying and MIL has a better team and won't be in the lottery. Crazy how we only see the negative things. Y'all suck, half empty or full empty. Never half full.
I read the OP and couldnt see how this was bad to him. Still cant.

Knowing who to root for/against to make Dumars look like a genius/fool is getting so complicated!
On the one hand, this strengthens the Bucks! Yay! Now the pick swap potential is lessened. Suck it Hawks! Dumars is now a genius!
On the other hand, this weakens the Pacers so their 2026 (top 4 protected) pick has more value! Oh no! Dumars is now a fool!
R E L A X - the team drafted Queen with our 2026 pick. Got him a year early. Hopefully he is good! I'm done with the hand-wringing...until he has a bad game in Summer League and everyone loses their shite.

All the difference in the world as the second Halliburton’s achilles popped teams would have been knocking down the door to get that pick from us.
We likely could have offered it to the Nets and gotten 19 and a future 1st back in return, or do the same trade with Indiana but getting another future pick (26-29) in return on top of #23

Its really easy when your sole thought process is only focusing on negatives. Only our team can have injuries this year, only other teams rookies will be good, only us make bad trades, only other teams make good trades. Idk its exhausting.

We're talking Pacers pick, right?
What a f'n awful trade that was.

No we are actually talking about how stupid it is to talk about the Pacers trade with this news. Also we received pick #23 from a team that was the #2nd best team last year.

Just stay one more year Giannis. You can leave in 2026

Your assumption is incorrect. The East is weak. The Pacers will not "tank." They have too many really good players with an excellent coach to miss the playoffs. Ain't nobody knocking down the door for a top-4 protected pick that will likely end up in the upper teens/late 20s.

’m not exactly a Dumars apologist but what were the chances Hali blows out his Achilles in the ONE remaining game on the schedule? .000001%?

Big enough chance that someone on this board predicted it would happen before it did.

The MIL pick had probably atleast a 50% higher chance of being a lotto pick vs the Pacers pick. So this trade definitely helps either way.
And everyone is ignoring that even if we didn't make that trade with IND we probably were still trading the IND 26' 1st with our 26' 1st anyway. Its so overblown.

Giannis will get over it.
The Bucks have paid him $283,880,092 to date. He has an additional $175,369,698 coming to him GARANTEED by the Bucks. So that means the Bucks are responsible for him earning $460 million.
