Yeah, I wasn't sure how that parlayed with protections, but thanks for the clarification.

Randle/Moore/Johnson/Diallo/Solo/2019 1st/2020 1st for Beal/Bazemore/Bembry but you had to have Parsons contract on the books for 3 months before you could turn him into 2 rotation players like Bazemore and Bembry, which would you take?

How are we going to turn Parsons into Bazemore and Brembby? More assets?

I think he is talking about a future trade (summer maybe) whereby we would pair our 2020 1st rounder with the Parsons' then expiring deal.

Instead of giving 2 Pels 1sts to Washington for Beal, you give a Pels 1st and a Memphis 1st that you get for doing a Solo - Parsons swap. Then you take the 2nd 1st you would have given Washington but didn’t have to because of Parsons and use it to turn Parsons into Bazemore-Bembry this summer.

Because of the trade rules you only give up your 2019 and 2020 1sts this way instead of the 2019 and 2021 1sts just dealing only with Washington for Beal. So the 2 1sts you give up not only bring more back because of bringing Parsons into the deal, but you get to keep your more valuable 2021 1st.

Given that Memphis can't trade its first until it conveys it's pick to Boston, I think it's a moot point either way. I doubt Washington wants a 2023 first rounder.

That would be the most Dell thing I've ever seen.

this is ok with me, but three 1sts, hell no.

I could care less if we don’t have a first round pick for three years if we have
Payton
Jrue/frank
Beal/Bazemore/Bembry
Niko
AD

Find a minimum pg and two minimum bigs and that’s a really, really good team

I’ve been trying to stay out all this possible Beal trade talk. If we pull it off I’m going to be ecstatic. Don’t want to get my hopes up. I said at the beginning of the year the two really good players that could be available if their team falters were McCollum and Beal, and I’d love either to play with Jrue and a Real PG like Payton.

hope we can keep Frank as a backup, give them Frazier lol. At least Frank can play some 1 or 2, shoot 3s and bigger defendefnesivelysively.

OP Trade talk would be good, but would have to build bench if we trade Moore Randle and Frank, unless Parsons still has minutes left in him.

Frank is going to be a really good bench player at a minimum in this league, I agree I'd like to keep him, but if Washington wants him in a trade for Beal you have to do it.
