Yeah I mean we give up quite often when Ayton has his angles because we know we can't stop him.

We also had 63 2p attempts to their 42. That doesn't even include the unofficial attempts where fouls led to misses.

I just heard a stat that the Suns are 29th in the NBA at drives to the rim.
It’s a matter of physicality cuz you’re not gonna get as many foul calls if you take more mid-range jumpers or 3-pointers than you do attacking the rim.
Now, recently the refs were not calling fouls for Zion when he was attacking the rim. This was not the case for the Suns last night.

Looks like we took three times as many shots inside than the Suns. Would account for the FT discrepancy.

We made more shots in the paint (34) than they had shots attempted in the paint (32).

Will they though? I feel like we’re the more exciting team with real star potential to the casual nba watcher. They’re not the 1 seed playing the play in team anymore.

Monty has taken on CP3's mentality of "blame someone else when we do not win." We outscored them 72-38 in the paint and made more field goals in the paint than they even attempted. Yet, he has the audacity to sit there and say they attacked the paint the same as we did. Heck, if JV were not in the game to allow Ayton free reign of the paint, they would have attacked even less.
