eez... Our fans need to knock that shite off, we got to the playoffs and were competitive against a team who shoots really well, and is full of veteran experience.
the warriors fired mark jackson last year after a winning season...., look what happens when you upgrade a coach

You suck at your job, people will let you know. His job just happens to be one where thousands are going to let him know it. I certainly hope that no one would say anything dumb, but he deserves every fricking boo he gets.

Monty is known to be paranoid and massively overprotective of his family. Read nothing more into that crap because he would experience worse in virtually any other NBA city.

There's nothing wrong with a man caring for his family. The story itself is just a non-issue.
Reading comprehension is your and eyeran's friend.

“Our fan base has always been really good here,” Williams said. “It’s just like anything else. Other coaches deal with it, one or two guys or something like that. It doesn’t bother me. The only thing I’ve been concerned with is my wife or family. It’s not the majority of the fans. It’s just a few people that have a disagreement of what I do or the results. That to me is just part of our business.

I'm not even a big Monty guy. We can do better at HC, we can do worse. But the irrational hatred for the guy leads me to defend him more than I want to.
Half our "fanbase" doesn't bother paying attention to the team until the Saints season craps out, then when they show up its to bitch and complain.
Young to team with a rising superstar, making its first playoff push while they play games in front of thousands of empty seats. Can't fill the arena, but there's no lack of righteous indignation around the NOLA area regarding the team.
But hey, the draft is next week so we'll forget about the Pelicans until next February, anyway.

Well, when you're in the public eye you have to have thick skin. Just like you should be graceful when you are getting praise.
Idk what happened. If Monty's family were being heckled, I totally understand why he want to have them stay away. If he was worried about him having his family hearing the fans boo him, well that pretty shitty.
Bottom line is 90% of fans (my estimate, don't ask me for a fricking link) are ready to move on. But the fans don't make the decisions, ownership does. Just be ready for another year of this shite if Monty returns.

And you whiffed again. Where did I say what Monty was complaining about exactly? Nowhere. Because you didn't read and then comprehend what I actually said.

Only a$$holes boo the home team. Could not believe there were boos in Game 3. I figured after the collapse in Game 3, the troglodytes (like the old white guy sitting next to me who said Monty should have played a zone) wouldn't be able to resist, but to boo the coach in their first home playoff game in years after the season they had is just stupid.

I hate to hear that. I would like to see a coaching upgrade, but it's still too bad that he felt like his kids couldn't come to the games.

I defintely ripped off that free t shirt Thursday night threw it across the bleachers and yelled Fire Monty Williams. I hope his kids didn't hear me but the dude deserved it. That loss stung so bad.
