You think you got bad support from NBA NHL world be bad in New Orleans

I don't know. NOLA Brass games were always hopping.

All in with the NHL. Scalise involvement shows he knows how bad Gayle is and has to bring sports to NOLA under a different owner.
The market is not big enough for the Pels and NHL so the Pels have to go.

I’d buy season tickets the second the team is announced.

It’s a much better sport and game experience but wouldn’t do well in NOLA at all at the NHL level.

It's a simple matter of demographics.

I'd buy season tickets the day they went on sale for a NOLA NHL team. I already go games in Biloxi and love when the Lightning have a home game the night before or after the Saints play in Tampa. The experience in the arena for a hockey game is fun and I enjoy it better than Pelicans games.
That being said, I agree with others that said this wouldn't be successful in NOLA. Not enough money here and the demographics are wrong.

The Brass averaged about 4500 fans a game when they were here. NHL would flop harder and faster than the Pels have in NOLA.

I think if they win it will get support. Otherwise it is a LSU & Saints first state.

That's way the Louisiana NHL team shouldn't be in New Orleans. It shouldn't be closer to Baton Rouge/Lafayette area.
New Orleans won't support anything that's not the Saints. They've proven with the NBA that the draw from the Miss Gulf Coast isn't as much as they believed as well.
But New Orleans for some reason is loved by the sports and already has the SKC to it's will probably go there and fail in about 5-10 years.

I’d buy tickets immediately for an nhl team, but you’d hear rumblings of “when are they gonna relocate?” within 3 years or less. And that’s being generous.

Professional sports will not exist in LA outside of New Orleans.
I’m not trying to be rude by saying that, but it’s just not happening.

I don't disagree with you at all.
I was just sayin no sports team other than the Saints should be in New Orleans. The city and Mississippi gulf coast region will not support anything other that the Saints. And frankly most of the rest of Louisiana is not going to support anything in the city of New Orleans. It's just not worth that hassle to go into the city anymore. At least for my demography

NOLA can barely support 2 pro teams, muchless a 3rd.
